March 17h 2010 Warfare Results

::It's 9:00 o'clock and we begin with a video that showcases what transpired from last weeks shocking Wednesday Night Warfare, where Vince McMahon attacked and stripped Desmond Wolfe of the ILW World title. And announced the main event for this Sunday's March Mayhem pay-per-view. We also recount the nights of events that led to The Big Show becoming the ILW Television Champion. Once the video has ended, we go into the usual opening video for Wednesday Night Warfare that is accompanied by Leaves' Eyes "Destiny". As the video ends, we fade into a live shot inside the ILW Arena. Where our cameras pan the sold out crowd in attendance as pyrotechnics go off around the entrance way. Before we cut away to our announce team::

Mike Tenay: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to tonight's Wednesday Night Warfare. I'm Mike Tenay and joining me as he does every week, my good friend and broadcast colleague Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Jerry Lawler: Thanks Tenay. And hello to all the fans watching us at home and around the world.

Mike Tenay: King, it's been one week since Vince McMahon came out here and stripped Desmond Wolfe of the ILW World title. And the wrestling world as we know it, has never been the same.

Jerry Lawler: I much like the fans, Tenay. Was more than surprised by the actions of Vince McMahon last week. But, it's obvious he had his reasons for what he did. But what is even more surprising to me, is the fact that Vince McMahon booked a huge main event for this Sunday's March Mayhem pay-per-view. In which every last ILW Superstar will have their chance at possibly becoming the next ILW World Champion.

Mike Tenay: Although I don't agree with Mr. McMahon's decision to vacate the ILW World title, King. I will admit that the main event for March Mayhem could prove to be the smartest marketing ploy ever devised by Vince McMahon. Everyone from the "Phenomenal One" AJ Styles to "The Game" Triple H and in between will get their shot at the most coveted prize in Idaho League Wrestling. And that is the ILW World Championship title.

Jerry Lawler: Indeed they will, Tenay. And speaking of championship gold, how shocked were you that last week we watched as The Big Show became the ILW Television Champion?

Mike Tenay: Very much so, King. Not only did The Big Show demolish his way through the entire card for last weeks show. But he also took advantage of an already tired Lance Storm, pretty much stealing the title in which he'd just defeated Raven for.

Jerry Lawler: I would say he cheated, Tenay. But you have to question Vince McMahon's actions for coming out and allowing the challenge on the part of The Big Show to take place. No, it wasn't the most ethical thing to do. But in the end, whether you, me, Lance Storm, or the ILW fans like it. The Big Show is our new and current reigning ILW Television champ.

Mike Tenay: He most certainly is, King. But we're not going to let last weeks event over shadow the great show we have lined up for tonight. In our main event we're going to see the ILW International Champion The Rock go one on one with former ILW World Champion Desmond Wolfe, in a non-title singles match.

Jerry Lawler: I cannot wait for that match, Tenay. The Rock's been on a roll ever since coming back, but after what took place last week, I'm sure Desmond Wolfe will be looking to take out his frustrations.

Mike Tenay: And who can blame him? We've also got a great tag team match in store, King. As the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and the "Guru of Cool" Johnny Nitro will be joining forces to face Detox and Hatchet, other wise known as Freekshow.

Jerry Lawler: We haven't seen either of these four men compete in almost a month, not since the Night of Fury pay-per-view, Tenay. And I'm sure they're all eager to prove that they're the better man.

Mike Tenay: No doubt about it, King. And although only one team can win, I'm sure this will prove to be a great match none the less. And speaking of great matches, how about this? Our newly crowned ILW Television Champion The Big Show will be in singles action against the "Franchise" Shane Douglas. But keep in mind that The Big Show's title will not be on the line tonight.

Jerry Lawler: This will be a great opportunity for the "Franchise" to prove that he's still got what it takes, Tenay. But on the other hand, after what The Big Show did to Rogers, Hall, Cage, Magnus, Legend, Triple H, and Storm the smart thing for Douglas to do. Might be to simply head for the hills and count his loses.

Mike Tenay: Shane Douglas certainly has a Giant, no pun intended, of a task before him tonight. But we've seen what Douglas is capable of in the past. And we'll just have to wait and see what happens. But what we don't have to wait any longer for King, is the start of tonight's action. Our opening match is another non-title singles match. And it features our ILW Womens Champion Daffney Unger taking on Velvet Sky.

Jerry Lawler: This should be a great match to start of Warfare here tonight, Tenay. After Daffney Unger debuted at Night of Fury and cost Velvet Sky her chance at the ILW Womens title, this match is more than likely going to be brutal.

::And with that being said, we get turned over to our ring announcer Jeremy Borash as he makes the introductions::

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your opening contest scheduled for one fall and is a non-title match. Currently making her way to the ring at this time, she hails from Atlanta, Georgia. And she is your ILW Womens Champion. She is, Daffney Unger!

::As Borash finishes introducing her, "Drawing Blood" fills the arena and so does a mixed reaction that leans more towards boos. Which only grows louder as Daffney Unger makes her way out and down into the ring, underneath the bottom rope. Where she then crawls to the middle of the ring, and as she's on her knees lets our a blood curdling scream::

Jeremy Borash: And her opponent, heading to the ring at this time. She hails from Waterbury, Connecticut. She is "The Real Deal", Velvet Sky!

::The fans boos turn to cheers as "The Beautiful People(Remix)" now fills the arena. And out walks Velvet Sky, who stops atop the entrance way, turns around, and does his sultry bending over, showing her "assets" to the camera before standing up and playing to the crowd. Sky then makes her way ringside, where she straddles the middle rope before entering the ring::

Daffney Unger(c) vs. Velvet Sky, Non-Title/Singles Match

As Sky is still in the middle of her entrance, standing on the second turnbuckle. Daffney jumps her, and clubs Sky in the small of her back. The referee calls for the bell and our first match is under way. With Sky now slumped over, Daffney continues to hammer away with clubbing blows to the small of her back. The referee steps in to warn Daffney about the five count, and she screams into his face in reply. As Daffney turns her attention back to Sky, connecting with a few more blows to the back. She then steps up onto the middle rope, now side by side with Sky. Daffney goes for a belly to back suplex, but Sky blocks it. Sky fights back with elbows, before knocking Daffney off. And as an enraged Daffney comes back after Sky, Velvet leaps off and connects with a beautiful cross body block. Sky has Daffney pinned underneath her on the mat and the referee drops into position to make the count. One. Two. And Daffney kicks out! Sky is quick to mount Daffney and connects with stiff rights, before bouncing the back of Daffney's head on the canvas. Sky gets to her feet, pulling Daffney up by her hair and slams her right back down face-first via a handful of hair. Sky puts the boots to Daffney's lower back, before following up with a few elbows. Sky then sits on Daffney's back, and claws at Daffney's face and mouth, arching her backwards in a camel clutch like hold. Sky then slams Daffney face-first again into the mat, before continuing to put the boots to her. The referee finally has to step in to get Sky off of her, and when he does Daffney pokes Sky in her right eye. With Sky semi-blinded, Daffney now goes back on the offensive and clotheslines Velvet out of the ring. Sky smacks her head on the ring apron on the way out, taking a nasty bump. Daffney goes out after her and bounces her head off the ring apron a few times, before sending her crashing into the ringside barrier back-first. Back in the ring, the referee tells Daffney to get back in the ring and then starts the ten count when she ignores him. One. Daffney then picks up Sky and drops her throat-first across the top of the ringside barrier. Two. Three. Daffney goes to whip Sky, but Velvet puts on the breaks and sends Daffney into the ringside barrier instead, with such force that Daffney ends up going over and into the first row. Four. Five. Sky quickly gets up on the ring apron and charges at Daffney full force, leaping off the edge and crashing into her. And the fans erupt with a chant of "This is Awesome!" as the referee continues to count. Six. Seven. Velvet is slow to get back up, but manages to get herself back on the right side of the ringside barrier. Eight. Daffney is slowly right behind her. Nine. Velvet rolls into the ring under the bottom rope. And before Daffney can re-enter the ring, the referee reaches the count of ten and calls for the bell.

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner of the match by count out "The Real Deal", Velvet Sky!

Mike Tenay: Velvet Sky has won the match, King. But by the skin of her teeth.

Jerry Lawler: She has at that, Tenay. This match was certainly back and fourth until the very end. These two were brutal with one another.

::Back in the ring, as Velvet Sky has her hand raised by the referee and an angry Daffney looks on from ringside. Sky calls for the mic::.

Velvet Sky: Daffney. This isn't how I wanted to beat you. But, a win is a win. I'm not finished with you by a long shot you freak. So how about at this Sunday's pay-per-view, you put that ILW Womens title on the line against me? And to sweeten the deal, if I lose, then I'll never challenge for the title so long as you are champion. But if I win, then you have to be my personal assistant for an entire month. So how about it, Daffney? Are you up to the challenge?

Mike Tenay: It looks as if Velvet Sky has just issued a challenge to Daffney, King. Will she accept?

::Before Lawler or even Daffney can say anything, "Hot n' Cold" fills the arena as does a nice pop for Amy Dumas as she makes her way out. Stopping atop the entrance way with mic in hand, she speaks::

Amy Dumas: Sorry for the interruption, Sky. But in case you forgot, you're not the only one that got screwed over by Daffney. And if anyone is going to get a shot at her and the ILW Womens title, it's me! I do after all, have a rematch clause in my contract and I'm issuing it for March Mayhem. So you're just going to have to take a back seat to me.

Velvet Sky: And you seem to forget that I have one as well Amy, from when I was ILW Womens Champion. And I'm issuing my rematch clause for this match at March Mayhem.

Jerry Lawler: Uh oh. Things could get ugly real quick here, Tenay.

::About that time, "No Chance" hits and the fans immediately start to boo as Vince McMahon walks out. With a smirk on his face and mic in hand, he waits for the music to fade out before proceeding::

Vince McMahon: Ladies. Ladies. Please, let us not bicker. Amy, you have a rematch clause that you're more than entitled to use whenever you see fit. As does Velvet Sky. And it's Daffney's obligation to defend the ILW Woemsn title, whenever it's challenged for or I deem fit. And that is why at this Sunday's March Mayhem pay-per-view, we're going to have a three way dance for the ILW Womens title. It will be Daffney Unger defending her title against Amy Dumas and Velvet Sky in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. And I'm also appointing Tracy Brooks the special guest enforcer for this match. So good luck to the three of you.

::With that being said, the fans go wild and as "No Chance" once again fills the arena and Vince McMahon retreats backstage, looking pleased with himself. We fade out to our first commercial break of the night::

::Coming back from the commercial break, we take a look at what just happened prior to the commercial break before hearing from our announce team::

Mike Tenay: Can you believe it, King? Vince McMahon just came out and signed our second match for the March Mayhem pay-per-view. A triple-threat, TLC match between Amy Dumas, Velvet Sky, and ILW Womens Champion Daffney Unger. And to top it all off, he's appointed the head of our Womens Division Tracy Brooks special guest enforcer.

Jerry Lawler: This is HUGE, Tenay. This will be another first for Idaho League Wrestling. I for one am excited to see how this will all play out.

Mike Tenay: That goes double for me, King. We're not even halfway through tonight's show, and we've already been treated to a blockbuster.

::With that being said, we now send it back to Jeremy Borash::

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, this contest is a non-title singles match and is scheduled for one fall. Currently making his way to the ring at this time. He hails from Aiken, South Carolina. And he is your ILW Television Champion. He is, The "Worlds Largest Athlete", The Big Show!

::As pyrotechnics explode around the entrance way and "In Your Face" fills the arena, so do boos and jeers as the ILW Television Champion The Big Show makes his way out from backstage. Once inside the ring, The Big Show shows off his title to the fans, who just boo him that much more::

Jeremy Borash: And his opponent, making his way to the ring at this time. He hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is the "Franchise", Shane Douglas!

::The booing of The Big Show is replaced by that of cheering from the fans as "Perfect Strangers" plays and out walks Shane Douglas to a Big pop from the sold out crowd::

The Big Show(c) vs. Shane Douglas, Non-Title/Singles Match

With Douglas now in the ring, the referee calls for the bell. The Big Show charges full steam ahead at Douglas, who steps out of the way just in time. And The Big Show crashes chest-first into the corner, hitting his head on the top of the ring post. The Big Show staggers out backwards and Douglas is right there with a roll up from behind. The referee drops into position to make the count. One. Two. Three.

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemene here is your winner of the match, the "Franchise" Shane Douglas!

Mike Tenay: I can't believe my eyes, King! Shane Douglas just beat The Big Show in less than twenty seconds!!

Jerry Lawler: David has truly just slayed Goliath, Tenay. Which just goes to show why you should never count your chickens before they hatch.

::Back in the ring, a very angry The Big Show is now on his feet. He goes after Douglas, but it's too late as Douglas has exited the ring and is having a good laugh at The Big Show's expense. The Big Show then exits the ring, and destroys both the announcers table and the Spanish announcers table, before sulking off to the back as we fade out to another commercial break::

::After the break, we go backstage to see the "Franchise" Shane Douglas standing by::

Shane Douglas: So I just have to know one thing, Big Show. How does it feel to know that you just got pinned in under twenty second by a guy that's half your size and weight? Haha. I guess you're not the unstoppable machine you thought you were. And for future reference, Show. Anytime you want a rematch, I'd be more than happy to give you one and kick your fat ass once again. Haha. Now if you'll excuse me, the Franchise needs to go celebrate the only way he knows how.

::And with that, we send it back to the ring where Jeremy Borash is standing by::

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, this contest is a tag team match and is scheduled for one fall. Currently making his way to the ring at this time. He hails from San Antonio, Texas. He is, the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels!

::The fans are all on their feet and going nuts as "Sexy Boy" hits! After a few seconds pass, Shawn Michaels dances his way out from backstage, drops to his knees on the entrance way as pyrotechnics go off behind him. Michaels then gets back to his feet and continues his way down to ringside, where he runs around it, slapping hands with the fans. Before finally entering the ring, and playing to the fans some more. Before waiting for his tag team partner::

Jeremy Borash: And his tag team partner. He hails from Los Angeles, California. He is the "Guru of Cool", Johnny Nitro!

With the fans still standing and cheering like mad, "Victim" hits and out struts Johnny Nitro. Who stops at the entrance way, as wind blows his fur coat and hair. Nitro then heads down the entrance way, and once ringside runs and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Before jumping up and posing for the fans on the trunbuckles::

Jeremy Borash: And introducing their opponents for the match. They hail from The Dark Carnival. They are the "Convykt" Detox and Hatchet, otherwise known as Freekshow!

::With the fans still on their feet, their response turns into a mixed one as "Assassins" rocks the arena, and Hatchet makes his presence felt::

Jerry Lawler: Uh. Is it just me Tenay, or are we missing one of the freeks?

Mike Tenay: It would appear so, King. We're supposed to have a tag team match here tonight, but where's Detox?

Jerry Lawler: Your guess is as good as mine, Tenay.

::With the fans booing as Hatchet enters the ring, he walks over to Borash and asks for the mic, which J.B. reluctantly hands over::

Hatchet: Now as y'all mawfackles can tell, Detox ain't with me here tonight. He's obviously too busy working on his rap career, and finds that more important than having his boys back. So instead of acting like a biznitch, tucking tail and no showing, cuz that's not how a real Juggalo acts. I went to Vince McMahon and asked him if it would be cool if I got myself a new partner. And Vince was kind enough to oblige. So without further delay, let me introduce all you ninjas and ninjettes to my tag team partner... JCW World Champion, Corporal Robinson!!!

::Just then "Hom-Sha-Bom" fills the arena, and as it continues to play Corporal Robinson, sporting a Running Hatchet Man jersey makes his way out to a mixed reaction::

Shawn Michaels/Johnny Nitro vs. Hatchet/Corporal Robinson, Tag Team Match

Once Robinson is up by Hatchet, the two men then rush the ring and take the fight right to Michaels and Nitro. The referee calls for the bell. Robinson and Hatchet dual whip Michaels and Nitro into the ropes, and are taken down simultaneously by shoulder tackles from Michaels and Nitro on the return. Michaels and Nitro then clothesline their opponents out of the ring, and down to the arena floor below. They then hit cross body blocks over the top rope. With a chant of "ILW!" from the fans, Nitro grabs Robinson and rolls him into the ring. In the ring, Michaels has struck up the band and when Robinson turns around Michaels drops him with "Sweet Chin Music"! Nitro follows up with his "Starship Pain" finisher! Nitro hooks the leg. The referee drops down to the mat to count the pin. One. Two. Three.

Jeremy Borash: Here are your winners of the match, Johnny Nitro and the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels!

Mike Tenay: Well, it looks as if Hatchet's last minute substitute for Detox wasn't for the better after all, King.

Jerry Lawler: You can say that again, Tenay. But at least Hatchet actually showed for the match and made an attempt.

Mike Tenay: He did at that, King. He did at that.

::Back in the ring, Shawn Michaels and Johnny Nitro congratulate one another after having their arms raised in victory. And as "Sexy Boy" once again fills the arena, the two men pose for and play to the fans as we fade out to our last commercial break of the night::

::After the break, we take a look back at what has happened so far in the show tonight. Before once again going to Jeremy Borash::

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your main event match up. This is a non-title singles match and is scheduled for one fall. Currently making his way to the ring at this time. He hails from Miami, Florida. He is your ILW International Champion. The "People's Champion, The Rock!

::There's not a seat filled in the arena as "If Ya Smell" hits and the fans damn near blow the roof of the arena off. As the ILW International Champion The Rock makes his way to the ring::

Jeremy Borash: And introducing his opponent. He hails from London, England. He is, Desmond Wolfe!

::The fans still on their feet greet "You're Going Down" with boos and jeers as Desmond Wolfe slowly makes his way to the ring::

The Rock(c) vs. Desmond Wolfe, Non-Title/Singles Match(Main Event)

As Wolfe nears the ring, he makes the fatal mistake of turning his back to The Rock as he "two finger" salutes the fans. The Rock grabs Wolfe from behind, and yanks him into the ring over the top rope. The referee calls for the bell and our main event is under way. Wolfe, struggles to get to his feet and take his jacket off. However, The Rock beats him to the punch, literally. The Rock connects with stiff rights, before spitting into his hand, and connecting with one last wicked right rocking Wolfe into the corner. The Rock then yanks Wolfe's jacket up over his head, ala Hockey fight style, and hammers away with rights and lefts to Wolfe's midsection. The Rock then whips Wolfe out of the corner, after ripping Desmond's jacket off so hard, that the force drives Desmond right back out and into the waiting clutches of The Rock. Who drops him with the "Rock Bottom"! The fans are on their feet and going wild as The Rock sets Wolfe up for the end. After criss-crossing the ring, The Rock stops and plants a picture-perfect "People's Elbow" on Wolfe! The Rock goes for the pin, leaning back as he hooks the leg. The referee makes the count. One. Two. Three.

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner of the match. The "People's Champion", The Rock!

Mike Tenay: Well The Rock certainly made short work of Wolfe here tonight, King.

Jerry Lawler: He most certainly did, Tenay. I figured he would have been a little more fired up after last weeks run-in with Mr. McMahon, but I guess his mind was elsewhere?

::Back in the ring, The Rock has his arm raised in victory by the referee. And then proceeds to pose on all four turnbuckles as "If Ya Smell" once again fills the arena and the fans continue to go wild!::

Mike Tenay: Thank you for joining us tonight, ladies and gentlemen. Be sure and join us this Sunday at nine p.m. Mountain for our March Mayhem pay-per-view. For Jerry Lawelr, and everyone at Idaho League Wrestling. Good night and god bless.

Jerry Lawler: Good night everybody.

::And on that note, Wednesday Night Warfare officially comes to a close::
