February 17th 2010 Warefare Results

::It's Nine o'clock and the show starts off with a video that showcases the highlight's from last weeks Wednesday Night Warfare. Once the video has ended, we go into the usual opening video for Wednesday Night Warfare that features the ILW Superstars and Divas. As the opening video ends, we fade into our live shot inside the ILW Arena as the fans go wild and "Destiny" by Leaves' Eyes plays in the background. We then cut to a shot our announce team::

Mike Tenay: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another episode of Wednesday Night Warfare. I'm Mike Tenay. And joining me as he does every week, my good friend Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Jerry Lawler: Hello to all the ILW fans joining us tonight, both here and abroad.

Mike Tenay: Tonight we continue with the second half of our first round tournament, King. And boy do we have a great show in store for our fans here tonight.

Jerry Lawler: We certainly do, Tenay. We already know that Tommy Duran, Scott Hall, Eric Rogers, and Desmond Wolfe have it made it to the second round. And tonight, we're going to find out who will be joining them.

Mike Tenay: There's no doubt about it, King. This tournament is shaping up to be a great one. Tonight's main event will feature a tables match, set to take place between "The Boss" Bobby Lashley and "The People's Champion" The Rock.

Jerry Lawler: I cannot wait for that match, Tenay. Should prove to be a classic. And speaking of classic, we're going to see Christian Cage go one on one with "The Franchise" Shane Douglas in singles action. As one of these two men will try their best to advance to the next round.

Mike Tenay: They will at that, King. There's no doubt in my mind that Cage versus Douglas will be a great match. And speaking of another great match. Former ILW World Champion Chris Legend will step foot in the ring against "The Game" Triple H in singles competition. And with the heat between these two over the past few weeks, I'm sure this is a powder keg just waiting to explode!

Jerry Lawler: I hear you, Tenay. But you can't just go around making remarks about another mans wife, like Legend's been doing. I just hope Legend's not biting off more than he can chew.

Mike Tenay: I agree, King. We will have to just wait and see if Legend will be able to survive "The Game". But starting it all off here tonight, is a first blood match. Set to take place between The Big Show and Lance Storm. And that match, King. Is up first.

::As Tenay finishes speaking, "Showtime" hits and the fans respond with a mixture of boos and cheers. As the "Worlds Largest Athlete" The Big Show makes his way out and down into the ring. And we over hear our ring announcer Jeremy Borash::

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your opening contest scheduled for one fall. And it is a Firs Blood Match. ::Fans cheer:: Currently making his way to the ring at this time, he hails from Aiken, South Carolina. He is The Big Show!

::With The Big show in the ring, waiting. "El Phantasmo" by White Zombie takes over, as does a nice pop from the fans. Which only gets louder as Lance Storm makes his way out::

The Big Show vs. Lance Storm, First Blood Match

With both men now in the ring, the referee calls for the bell. And our opening match of the night is under way. Storm quickly exits the ring and goes underneath it, where he produces a kendo stick, which he throws into the ring. The Big Show goes for the kendo stick, and as he does so, Storm grabs a steel chair and slides into the ring with it. The Big Show with kendo stick in hand, nails Storm a couple of times with it. But as he goes for a shot to the head with it, Storm blocks it with the steel chair. Then stomps on The Big Show's foot, and as Show reels in pain, Storm cracks him in the knee with the steel chair. Storm follows up by cracking Show in the head with the steel chair, drops it, and hits Show in the knee with back to back baseball slides. The Big Show is staggering in place, and finally is taken down with a missile drop kick from the top turnbuckle by Storm. Storm quickly grabs the kendo stick and lays into The Big Show with it, eventually shattering the kendo stick. Storm removes the corner turnbuckle cover as Show slowly gets back to his feet. Storm goes after The Big Show, but Show catches him and has him wrapped around the throat. Storm kicks at Shows knee, until he's finally free. Show goes for a clothesline, but Storm ducks it and drop kicks The Big Show face-first into the exposed corners turnbuckle. Storm quickly grabs the steel chair and slams it down on the back of The Big Shows head. The crowd lets out an "Ooh!" at the sound, and when Big Show turns around, he's cut open above his brow. The referee sees it and calls for the bell.

Mike Tenay: Lance Storm has done it, King. He's drawn first blood over The Big Show.

::Back in the ring, the referee is raising Lance Storms arm in victory. And as the fans cheer and "El Phantasmo" once again fills the arena, we over hear Jeremy Borash::

Jeremy Borash: Here is the winner of the match, the "Perfect Storm", Lance Storm!

::Back in the ring, Storms post-match celebration is cut short when The Big Show clubs him with his massive fist from behind. And then "Chokeslams" Lance Storm in the middle of the ring! Before exiting as "Showtime" plays him out, and we take out first commercial break:

::Coming back from the commercial break, we see that the n.W.o's Marc Magnus is in the ring with mic in hand::


::OOC::Please Ignore The Head Dress::END OOC::

Marc Magnus: I find it appauling and downright insulting that every other male competitor in this company was given a shot at facing Johnny Nitro at the Night of Fury pay-per-view, by participating in this little tournament. With the exception of yours truly. I'm a former ILW Mid-Class Champion, Thunder Tag Team Champion, and ILW Unified Tag Team Champion. Not to mention I have the best win/loss record out of anyone within this company. And I'm also the first Legend that Idaho League Wrestling has ever produced. Not Shawn Michaels, not AJ Styles, nor anyone else for that matter. Me and me alone! And that is why right here and now I am issuing a challenge to the current reigning ILW World Champion. Johnny Nitro I demand that you face me next week on Warfare. And I demand that you put the ILW World Championship on the line as well. You claim you're not afraid to face anyone, Johnny. And that you're a fighting champion. Then prove it!

::With that being said, Magnus drops the mic and exits the ring as the "n.W.o Theme" plays him out. And we hear from our announce team::

Mike Tenay: Well it looks as if a challenge has been issued, King. An irate Marc Magnus just called out the ILW World Champion Johnny Nitro. And demanded that he put the title on the line next week in a match against him.

Jerry Lawler: I can't say as that I blame Magnus, Tenay. He's right, every other male superstar was given a shot at facing Johnny Nitro at the Night of Fury pay-per-view, except for him. I think he did the right thing by calling out Nitro. Now we'll just have to wait and see if Nitro will accept.

::With that being said, we once again go to Jeremy Borash as he makes the introductions for the next match::

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, this contest is a singles match and is scheduled for one fall. Currently making his way to the ring at this time. He hails from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is Chris Legend!

::The crowd reacts with a nice pop as "King Nothing" plays over the arenas sound system and Chris Legend makes his way out and to the ring::

Jeremy Borash: And his opponent for this match. He hails from Greenich, Connecticut. He is "The Game", Triple H!

As the arena takes on a different color scheme of flashing gold, green, and purple lights the fans go wild! Even more so as "Time To Play The Game" echoes through out the arena and "The Game" Triple H makes his presence felt::

Chris Legend vs. Triple H, Singles Match

As Triple H steps down from the turnbuckle and turns around, Legend charges Triple H and takes him down with a clothesline. The referee calls for the bell, and our next match up is officially under way. Legend fires away with a few stiff rights, backing Triple H into the corner and follows up with a few kicks to the mid-section before whipping "The Game" back out of the corner. Triple H hits back-first and with such force, that he comes back out of the corner and Legend drops him with a high back body drop. Legend waits for Triple H to get back to his feet and takes him over the top rope with a clothesline, and "The Game" crashes to the arena floor below. Legend then plays to the crowd as Triple H gets back to his feet and re-enters the ring. Back in the ring, Legend meets "The Game" with more stiff rights as he tries to get to his feet. Legend helps Triple H up, and connects with a knife edged chop backing Triple H into the ropes. Legend scores with another knife edged chop before whipping Triple H. "The Game" counters with a kick to Legend's upper body as he lowers his head on the return. Legend holds his chest in pain, before getting tossed through the ropes and to the arena floor himself. Triple H then plays to the crowd and Legend goes to re-enter the ring. As he does so, "The Game" tries to meet him, but gets caught with a shoulder to the gut between the ropes. Legend then launches himself over the back of Triple H, rolls "The Game" up, but pushes it through and goes for a Boston Crab in the middle of the ring. Triple H manages to fight it off, and Legend instead flips "The Game" up and face-first into the top turnbuckle. Legend then rolls up a staggering Triple H from behind and the referee is there to make the count. One. Two. And Triple H is able to kick out! Legend is up and connects with a boot to Triple H's temple, as he's on one knee. Triple H is up and Legend hits "The Game" with more stiff rights before backing Triple H up against the ropes and hitting another knife edged chop. Legend then whips Triple H off the ropes, but "The Game" reverses it and on the return he drops Legend with a wicked spinebuster! "The Game" then plays to the fans, signaling for the end. And when he sets Legend up for "The Pedigree"!, Legend wriggles free, manages to low blow Triple H from behind out of sight of the referee and goes for the pin, pulling Triple H's trunks. The referee makes the count. One. Two. Three.

Jeremy Borash: Here is the winner of the match, Chris Legend!

Mike Tenay: What in the hell was that? "The Game" just got screwed by Chris Legend!

Jerry Lawler: I can't believe what I just saw happen, Tenay. Chris Legend not only low blowed Triple H, but he had a hand full of his trunks as well.

Mike Tenay: You can be sure that this won't sit well with "The Game", King. I'm more than sure that Legend will have to answer for his actions here tonight, sooner or later.

::Back in the ring, Triple H is beside himself and cannot believe what just took place. Meanwhile, Chris Legend is smiling as he back tracks his way up the entrance way. And as "King Nothing" plays him out, we fade out to a commercial break::

::As we come back from the commercial break, we take a look at what just transpired with the last match. We then go backstage to see a very upset Triple H trashing his dressing room. Before grabbing his bags and exiting the arena. We then go to ringside as Jeremy Borash makes the introductions for the next match::

Jeremy Borash: Ladies and gentlemen, this contest is a singles match and is scheduled for one fall. Currently making his way to the ring at this time, he hails from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He is the "Instant Classic" Christian Cage!

::The fans are on their feet and cheering as "Hero" plays and Christian Cage enters the arena to a nice pop from the crowd. Cage plays to his peeps, before making his way down and into the ring::

Jeremy Borash: And introducing the challenger. He hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is "The Franchise" Shane Douglas!

::The fans are still on their feet, cheering as "Perfect Strangers" hits and out walks "The Franchise" Shane Douglas to a HUGE pop::

Christian Cage vs. Shane Douglas, Singles Match

Once both men are inside the ring, the referee calls for the bell. And our next match is under way. Christian and Shane tie up in the center of the ring and Shane gets a go-behind. Christian elbows Shane in the face and drops to his knees, dragging Shane down too. Both men meet on their feet and tie up again. Now they’re having a test of strength in their tie-up, trying to shove the other one back. Christian Cage gains the upper hand first by forcing Douglas back, but Shane proves he was the stronger when he backs Cage into the corner. The ref counts so that Shane breaks the tie-up. 1. 2. 3. 4. Shane broke the tie-up and smacks Christian across the face. This enrages Christian and he spears Douglas to the mat! He starts pounding away at Shane’s face before the referee pulls him off. Christian lets out a battle cry and smacks his chest as his Peeps cheer him on. He starts to pick up Shane Douglas and Douglas starts punching Christian in the gut. He gets a small package for a 1. 2. and a kick-out. Both men stand up and with one arm, Douglas sweeps the legs out from under Christian Cage. He pins him for the 1. 2. and another shoulder up! Both men get up and Douglas starts punching Cage until he backs him into the ropes. He whips Cage into the opposite ropes, only to be met with a cross body block from “The Instant Classic”. 1. 2. and a kick-out by “The Franchise”! Both men are up and Christian dropkicks Shane down. Both men up again and Christian chops Shane’s chest. Shane chops back. Christian chops again and then hits some right hands, backing Shane into the corner. He then whips Shane, Shane reverses, and Christian ends up in the corner. Shane charges in after him but gets boots in the face. Christian then sits on the middle rope and waits for Shane to come back, and then hits the Pendulum Kick to Shane’s face! Shane backs up and Christian gets on the middle rope. Shane turns and Christian hits a dropkick off the middle rope for a 1. 2. and a kick-out! Christian Cage starts clapping to get his Peeps into the match and the crowd starts clapping with him. Cage heads to the top rope yet again and waits for Shane to stand up. Once Shane is up, he hits a spinning back elbow to the face of “The Franchise”. He pins Douglas for the 1. 2. and yet another kick-out. Christian is visibly frustrated as he picks Shane Douglas up. He runs against the ropes and Shane meets Christian with a belly-to-belly suplex. Both men are weak and stand up at the same time. Shane kicks Cage in the gut and goes for the Franchiser, but Christian shoves him off. He dropkicks Douglas in the back, forcing him chest-first into the turnbuckle. All of a sudden, we hear the crowd booing as we catch a glimpse of Chris Legend walking to the ring. No one in the ring notices as Shane staggers back and Christian Cage hits the Killswitch on Douglas! “The Franchise” is out as Christian rolls him over and pins him for the 1. 2. and Chris Legend pulls the referee out of the ring! Christian Cage doesn’t notice as Chris Legend goes over and grabs a chair from ringside, sliding into the ring with it. Christian Cage sees the approaching Legend as he stands up and ducks the chair shot. Legend ends up dropping the chair out of the ring, turns, and Cage dropkicks Legend out of the ring. The fans cheer as Christian runs and jumps off the middle rope, doing his patented leap outside towards Chris Legend, but Legend picked up the chair and blasted Christian Cage in the face in mid-air! “Captain Charisma” is out cold as Chris Legend takes his chair and dashes to the backstage area. The referee manages to crawl back into the ring and both he and Douglas stagger to their feet. The ref sees that Cage is out cold outside the ring and starts the count. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10! He calls for the bell and raises Shane Douglas hand!

Jeremy Borash: Here is the winner of this match, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas!

::As Douglas has his arm raised in victory, the fans cheer and "Perfect Strangers" fills the arena. We hear from our announce team::

Mike Tenay: Damn it! chris Legend has done it again. It's not enough the man cheated his way to victory over "The Game" in their match. But now he has just screwed Christian Cage out of a possible win.

Jerry Lawler: It's obvious that Chris Legend has got something to say, Tenay. Maybe this is his way of making a statement?

Mike Tenay: Either way, King. Chris Legend needs to confront his problems head on, and be a man. Not sneak around and attack people like a coward!

Jerry Lawler: I couldn't agree with you more, Tenay.

Mike Tenay: Ladies and gentlemen, we've got to take a short commercial break. But when we come back, it will be time for our main event.

::And with that, we fade out to our last commercial break of the night::

::As we come back from the commercial break, we're treated to an oh-so familiar sound as "No chance" fills the arena, along with the boos and jeers of the ILW fans. As Vince McMahon walks out from backstage and heads for the ring::

::As Vince McMahon saunters his way down and into the ring, we over hear our announce team::

Mike Tenay: Folks, I apologize for this. But apparently Vince McMahon is going to say something before we get to our main event?

Jerry Lawler: I really hope no one else is going to get fried, Tenay. I don't think my poor heart can take any more excitement.

::Vince McMahon is finally in the ring, where he takes a mic and waits for his music to fade out before addressing the crowd::

Vince McMahon: Thank you all for that warm reception. Now I know you're all waiting for the big main event of The Rock versus Bobby Lashley in a tables match. ::Fans cheer:: Well, that's not going to happen! ::Fans boo:: Go right on ahead and boo me all you want. Why? Because this isn't my fault. No, the blame rests squarely on the shoulders of two men. Those men being "The Boss" Bobby Lashley and The Rock. Seeing a show neither of these two bothered to show up for tonight's show, there will be no main event match. ::Again, the fans boo:: So that is why I am out here tonight, to inform you all of the bad news and to handle some business. First of all, Bobby Lashley. There is only one "Boss" around here, buddy. So pack your bags and hit the bricks "Blackberg", because your ass is.... FIRED!!! And as for you, Dwayne Johnson. you're on thin ice. Consider this your one and only warning. you pull this stunt again and I, Vincent Kennedy McMahon will have no qualms sending you on the unemployment line! But enough with the bad news, how about some good news for a change? Next week, for the main event of Wednesday Night Warfare, there will be a title defense taking place. As Johnny Nitro will defend the ILW World title against... Marc Magnus, in a singles match!

::The fans are cheering at the announcement that Vince McMahon has just made::

Vince McMahon: So with that being said, the show is over. Now get the hell out!

::The fans again boo as McMahon smirks and exits the ring to "No Chance", and we again hear from our announce team::

Mike Tenay: Well, it looks as if that's it for tonight's Warfare ladies and gentlemen. For Jerry "The King" Lawler, myself, and everyone at Idaho League Wrestling. Good night and god bless.
